The grapes were all harvested by hand and soft pressed into stainless steel tanks where they remained in contact with the skins for up to 48 hours to get their characteristic coppery colour. This was followed by cool temperature-controlled fermentation and low temperature storage before bottling. The pale pink wine, with coppery reflections, has crisp, fresh, red-berry aromas with soft, well-balanced fruity flavours. Served chilled, this is a an easy-drinking summery wine that can be drunk alone or served with shrimp or chicken salad as well as prawn risotto.
