Quality Assurance

So that your coffee always tastes the way you expect we ensure the quality is continuously monitored. This applies to the raw commodity in the country of origin, any transportation and naturally to the finished roasting of the coffee. In principle, for our high-quality coffee, we use only Arabica beans (still the best available) to provide a full taste and rich flavour.

After the harvest, the beans are sorted according to size, colour, weight and quality. The chosen beans, packed in bags or as bulk material in containers, are then transported by ship from the country of origin. We demand the highest standards from our raw coffee suppliers - who certify the beans according to strict international regulations. Experienced professionals evaluate the quality of the beans after several sample roastings - based on taste, flavour, density and colour.

Once we are 100 percent satisfied that the coffee fulfils our quality standards, the beans are processed and carefully roasted in our ultra modern plants. Of course, the coffee is constantly supervised during all production stages.
