Which methods of payment do you accept?
In store we accept:
Cash Cards through chip and pin as well as contactless if enabled on customer’s card: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta Electron or American Express Contactless Mobile payments: Apple pay and Android pay Unfortunately we do not accept cheques.
Online we accept:
- American Express
Unfortunately we do not currently accept any other forms of payment online, including Maestro, Paypal and BACS.Close
How do I pay for my order?
So, you’ve added some great-value items to your basket and you’re ready to submit your order. What’s next? To make your payment, you just need to click the 'Check Out Now' button and follow a few simple steps.
We’ll ask you to:
- Validate your date of birth if your basket contains age-restricted items
- Either provide your email address or log in with the email address you've already registered with us
- Provide your delivery details (including your name, address and phone number)
- Select your delivery options
- Enter your payment details (make sure you have your card to hand!)
- Click ‘Pay Securely’ to submit your order
Your payment details will then be sent securely and directly to our Payment Service Provider. If your card is enrolled in the Authenticated Payments Program (3D Secure), you’ll be forwarded to your card issuer’s website for authentication. After you’ve successfully identified yourself, you’ll be sent back to our website to complete your order.
Your payment will be taken straight away once your card has passed the bank checks.Close
Can I pay with PayPal?
Unfortunately we do not accept payments using Paypal at the moment.Close
When will payment be taken from my account?
Once you click ‘Pay Securely’, you may be forwarded to your card issuer’s website for authentication. When your card has passed any bank checks, your payment will be taken straight away and sent directly to our Payment Service Provider. This will usually show on your bank statement within 48 hours.Close
What is my credit card security number?
Your Card Security Code is located on your payment card. For MasterCard and Visa look for the 3 digits on the back of your card, or for American Express it's the 4 digits on the front.Close
How do I know my payment will be secure?
We take online security very seriously at Aldi, which is why our systems are protected to the highest standards. In fact, we’re independently checked every single year to make sure we meet payment card industry data security standards.
When you enter a secure site, your web browser will go into ‘secure mode’. You can check that you’re shopping in a secure environment by looking for a locked padlock or key icon in the grey bar at the bottom of your screen. In this mode, all of your details are encrypted, which means your card details can’t be viewed by anyone else on the internet.
We only accept orders from web browsers that permit communication through Transport Layer Security (TSL) technology - for example, Versions 3.0 or higher of Internet Explorer and versions 3.02 or higher of Netscape. This technology prevents you from inadvertently revealing your personal details.
Once you click ‘Pay Securely’, your payment details will be sent securely and directly from your browser to our Payment Service Provider. We promise we’ll never store your full card number and Card Security Code, so you can rest assured that your details will be safe.Close
I'm unhappy about paying for goods online, is there another way for me to order?
Every effort has been made to keep your payment details safe and secure when you’re paying for items on our website. In fact, we’re independently checked every year to make sure we meet payment card industry data security standards.
However, if you’re still not comfortable paying for your goods online, you may wish to visit your nearest Aldi store and pay for your products there. To find your nearest Aldi, use our handy Store Finder.Close
Can I pay by BACS?
Unfortunately we do not accept BACS payments at the moment.Close
Will my card details be stored once I enter them on your website?
Your full card number and Card Security Code will never be stored by Aldi.
If you register, secure references to the cards you’ve successfully used will be kept in the Payment Details area of ‘My Account’. This will make it easier for you to make future purchases. However, if you no longer want us to keep these details, that’s absolutely fine. Just click on the ‘delete card’ button and they’ll be removed straight away.Close

Why isn't my voucher code working?
Voucher codes can be entered at the checkout page. To successfully redeem the voucher please ensure the code is entered exactly as displayed without any spaces.
Our promotional codes can be used for one purchase per person only and may only be valid for a limited period of time or with a limited quantity of redemptions. Some codes may only be redeemable against particular products.
