Rated 4 out of 5 by shazbob from Lovely if cooked and left to rest! These lamb shanks are very tasty and if cooked right the meat does fall off the bone. I usually cook them both from defrosted in the microwave (800w) for ten mins on full. Then leave them in a warm oven (100c) for around 20 mins to rest. Works every time! Must say tho' if I have one small issue its the sauce. Its nice but is a little too sweet for my tastes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by bill the chef from defrosting I love these lamb shanks, I pierce the bags and defrost in microwave following the microwave instructions, mine has two defrost power levels and I use the lower one usually for about 12-15 minutes then I seal the lamb shanks in a tightly wrapped parcel of foil (after removing from plastic of course and squeezing over all the sauce) and cook for 40 mins at 170 degrees in my fan oven, they are perfect every time

Served with roast spuds and veg, abso delicious and the sauce was wonderful and plenty of it, meat was lovely and tender and fell from bone. We both enjoyed the shanks. Very good value, I give it 10 out of 10, I always say make up your own mind. Cooking instructions are crystal clear. Didn't have room in my freezer so I let it defrost and cooked as instructions on box. Will definitely buy again. Yuum
