January's Fresh Inspiration

We aim to always offer our customers the freshest fruit and vegetables. We believe everyone should enjoy the benefits of fresh produce every day that’s why every month we showcase six of our favourites for you to make the most of. See what will inspire you in the kitchen this month...

  • Kale

    Kale is a fantastic and cheap source of iron, packed with vitamins and cancer-fighting antioxidants. Add it to stews, soups and curries or stir fry with garlic, spring onions and brown rice with a little soy sauce.
  • Avocado

    Did you know the deliciously creamy avocado is technically a fruit? Although most commonly used as a vegetable, it’s highly nutritious containing vitamin E, iron and potassium.
  • Spinach

    You’ll find this leafy green vegetable used in almost every cuisine. The bitter flavour is distinctive and works really well in curries as well as complementing dairy products and eggs.
  • Grapefruit

    Tart and tangy with an underlying sweetness, grapefruit has that bittersweet juiciness we love from the citrus family. Packed full of Vitamin C, it’s a great burst of goodness to start your day .
