That’s why every month we showcase six of our favourites for you to make the most of it. September’s all about the best of British, as we celebrate Red Tractor week and the British food fortnight. See what fresh recipes will inspire you in the kitchen…

  • Mangetout

    Great for adding a sweet crunch to stir-fries and Thai dishes, mangetout are also fantastic in a quinoa or lentil salad, or tossed with grated carrot.
  • Celery

    Every foodie knows celery is a vital base ingredient for and pasta sauces. If you have lots left over, whip up a quick low-cal soup with some onions, potatoes, celery seeds and nutmeg.
  • Carrots

    Bursting with Vitamin A, our carrots make a wonderful dish in their own right. Try them roasted with garlic, cumin and rosemary and a drizzle of olive oil. We’re committed to keeping our organic carrots at affordable prices.
  • Apricots

    One of our favourite uses for apricots is in Moroccan-style lamb stews and tagines. They’re also fantastic poached or roasted – try them served with Greek yoghurt and honey.
