“Isn’t Pinot Grigio Italian?” we hear you cry. This one’s from the Western Cape, where pockets of Pinot Grigio have produced
excellent results thanks to its warm summers and cool coastal breezes (actually the variety’s
originally from France anyway!).
The Grape White bears reference to the many Great White Sharks that lie basking off the coast of nearby False Bay, preying on seals and those surfers (and winemakers!) who repeatedly brave the icy waters in pursuit of fun and adventure. This same spirit of adventure carries through to this delightfully elegant fruit driven wine.
