    Italian Hot Dogs

    1 x pack Specially Selected pork sausages

    1 x pack Specially Selected smoked pancetta

    1 x pack 6 Specially Selected sliced brioche hot dog rolls

    50g tomato sauce

    2 x heaped tsp green pesto

    1 x pack 2 little gem lettuces

    2 x medium red onions

    2 x 215g balls mozzarella cheese

    Fresh basil leaves

    Method

    Shred the lettuce and peel and dice the onions then mix the two together 

     Wrap each sausage with 2 slices of pancetta and bake in the oven for 20 mins at 200c/400f/gas 6- or grill/BBQ for 8 mins – turning as you cook

    Meanwhile, mix the tomato sauce with the pesto

    Drain the mozzarella balls and thinly slice

    Spread a little of the tomato sauce on each of the rolls and divide the lettuce and onions between them

    Then, top each roll with the sliced mozzarella and one sausage

    Squirt over the remaining tomato sauce and sprinkle over some basil leaves to serve
