Impress your dinner party guests with this simple, classic whisky cocktail
120ml Scotch Whisky
Juice x 1 Large Lemon – keep the peel for decoration
1 x tsp Caster Sugar
Water Ice cubes
Pour the boiling water over the sugar and stir to dissolve – allow to cool.
Put the cooled sugar syrup, whisky and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for a few minutes.
Add some ice cubes and shake some more.
Strain into two glasses – top with some ice cubes & decorate with lemon.
