Mac and Cheese on a Toastie. Is there anything better?
8 x slices Tiger Bloomer
150g Macaroni
75g grated Red Cheddar
75g grated Mature Cheddar
1 x tsp Paprika
1 x heaped tsp English Mustard
¼ tsp Black Pepper
75ml Double Cream
Butter
BBQ sauce to serve
Cook the macaroni as instructions on the pack.
Drain and add the grated cheeses, cream, black pepper, paprika and mustard.
Mix well to melt the cheeses and put in the fridge to cool and firm up.
Divide the mac and cheese between 4 slices of the bloomer.
Top with the other slices.
Butter the bread on both sides.
Fry in a non-stick frying pan till golden on both sides.
Serve alongside some bbq sauce.
