Roasted Pork Belly Ramen

Warming and delicious, treat yourself to a hot bowl of Ramen.

Ingredients

For the Roasted Pork Belly:

  • 4 Pork Belly Slices
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Caster Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar

For the Ramen:

  • 2 packs Ramen Broth
  • 2 packs Ramen Noodles
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Pak Choi, washed and halved
  • 2 Spring Onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 Radishes, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • ½ tsp Dried Chilli Flakes  

  

Method

  1. Place the soy sauce, caster sugar and vinegar into a bowl along with the pork belly slices and leave to marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas Mark 6.
  3. Roast the pork for 30 minutes, then turn over and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  4. To cook the soft-boiled eggs, place into simmering water for 6 and a half minutes, then into cold water to cool.
  5. Prepare the ramen noodles and broth as per pack instructions.
  6. Simmer the pak choi in the ramen broth for 4-5 minutes until cooked.
  7. To serve, arrange the noodles in your bowl and top with the broth, pork, soft egg and pak choi.
  8. Garnish with the spring onions, radishes, sesame seeds and chilli flakes and serve.
