Slow Cooker Philly Cheese Steaks

The perfect mid week meal all cooked in the slow cooker!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
  • 2x Large Or 3x Small White Onions, Sliced
  • 350g Of Beef Steak, Thinly Sliced
  • Optional Jalapeños Or Gherkins
  • 1 Tbsp. Salted Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1x Red Or Green Pepper, Sliced
  • 100ml Beef Stock
  • Handful Of Fresh Coriander, Chopped
  • Any Mayo, I Used Garlic
  • Fresh Mozzarella, Thinly Sliced
  • 4x Sub Rolls

Method

  1. Fry off your chopped onions until crispy in a frying pan with the butter.
  2. Add them to the base of your slow cooker with the brown sugar and mix.
  3. Add the steak strips on top with garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Add your peppers on top, then add in stock and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
  5. When finished cooking, add in a handful of fresh coriander and stir together.
  6. Slice rolls and add mayo to each one. Add cheese, then some steak mix, then more cheese to each one, cover in foil, and place in a preheated oven for a few minutes to melt cheese.
  7. Add jalapeños or gherkins and serve.
