Garlic Butter King Prawn Alfredo

Ingredients
- 200g Raw king prawns (defrosted if frozen)
- 50g Spaghetti per person
- 300ml Single cream
- 50g Grated parmesan
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- ½ tsp Cayenne pepper
- 250g Cherry tomatoes, halved
- 4 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 White onion, finely chopped
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Method
- Defrost prawns under cold running water.
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
- In a large frying pan, sauté onion in oil for 2–3 minutes. Add garlic, paprika, and cayenne.
- Add halved tomatoes and cook until soft. Add prawns and a knob of butter. Cook until prawns turn pink.
- Add cream and parmesan. Stir in a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Add cooked spaghetti directly into the sauce using tongs. Toss to combine.
- Stir in chopped parsley and serve hot.
