ALDI Testers Club: The ALDI Testers Club provides the opportunity for ALDI customers to help ALDI improve the quality of its product range by testing products for free in exchange for honest, unbiased feedback. Users who leave detailed reviews frequently may be invited to join the club, to select a product to receive free of charge, and to leave a genuine, detailed review – which will be highlighted on the website as an incentivised review.
Types of Data: By becoming a member of the ALDI Testers Club you agree to provide ALDI with:

TellALDI: TellALDI is an online survey that allows customers to feedback information and opinions about their experience when shopping in ALDI stores. Using a unique code on the base of their receipt, customers are asked to answer a series of questions relating to their shopping experience and the customer service they receive. Customers who complete a survey are then entered in to a draw to win £100 of ALDI vouchers.
Types of Data: If you enter a TellALDI Competition you agree to provide ALDI with:
(b) your email address or phone number;
(c) if you win a TellALDI Competition, your address; and
(d) if you win a TellALDI Competition and it is requested by ALDI, proof of your age.
ALDI and InMoment will use the information you provide in relation to a TellALDI Competition in the following ways:

ALDI Store Wi-Fi: The ALDI Store Wi-Fi is a free service available to all customers who shop in our stores, enabling them to connect to Wi-FI while shopping with us. By registering for and using the ALDI in-store Wi-Fi facilities (“Store Wi-Fi”), and in particular by submitting any information to ALDI (including your personal data) you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Section.
Types of Data:
Information which you give us: We may collect and process the following data which you provide to us:
(a) information that you provide when registering to use the Store-Wi-Fi;
(b) information that you provide when you report a problem with our Store Wi-Fi;
(c) information that you provide through surveys or when asked to give your opinions about our services and products; and
(d) your e-mail address.
Information we collect about you: We may also collect and process the following technical information automatically when you log onto the Store Wi-Fi:
(a) the MAC address used to connect your device to the Service, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;
(b) information about the length of your use of the Store Wi-Fi, data consumed whilst on the Store Wi-Fi and any phone number used to call our customer service number; and

We will receive certain information from the social media platform you have chosen to use in accordance with the terms and conditions that you have agreed with them. (a) facilitate your access to the Store Wi-Fi network;

(a) allow you to use our Store Wi-Fi in a way that makes your browsing experience more convenient. For example, by enabling us to recognise the device you use when you return to one of our stores and wish to use the Store Wi-Fi again using that same device;
(b) improve our Store Wi-Fi. For example, knowing how and when our customers make use of the Store Wi-Fi allows us to streamline the user experience, speed up searches, identify bugs and make enhancements;
(c) administer the Store Wi-Fi and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;
(d) improve the Store Wi-Fi to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device and also to improve our retail stores; and / or

Disclosure of Data: Further to the disclosures described in Section 7 (Disclosures of your Personal Data), we may also disclose your personal data to third parties in connection with:
(a) rating or reviewing the Store Wi-Fi; and
(b) the moderation, review and response to such ratings and reviews.

Where you use the Store Wi-Fi to access any non-ALDI websites (including any that may be linked from the Store Wi-Fi landing page), any information you submit to such a website will be controlled by the operator of that site, over which ALDI have no control. Accessing those websites may allow third-parties to collect or share data about you. Please check the relevant third-party privacy policies before you submit any personal data to them.

Store CCTV: A number of our stores have CCTV cameras.
Types of Data: If you visit one of our stores your image may be captured on our cameras.
Uses of Data: We will use this data as and when it is necessary to review an incident at or around one of our stores. This data may also be used to assist in the detection and prevention of crime, and be used as evidence in the issuance of Banning Notices.
Basis for Processing: This processing is both necessary for us to comply with our legal obligations and in accordance with our legitimate interests (to improve our store security, prevent fraud, issue banning notices and assist the relevant authorities with any relevant investigations). It may also be reviewed for training and monitoring purposes, to ensure the health and safety of all our customers, colleagues and visitors.

ALDI & Netmums Sampling Programme: The ALDI & Netmums Sampling Programme allows users to register to receive samples of ALDI Mamia products. There are two parts to the programme, both of which are registered for via the Netmums website – the Newborn Sampling Programme (entitling users to receive one sample delivery, subject to availability) and the Netmums Mums Club Chairmums Programme (entitling users to receive an ongoing delivery of samples, subject to availability).
For the Newborn Sampling Programme we will collect:
(a) Name
(b) Email; and
(c) Address.
For the Netmums Mums Club Chairmums Programme:
(a) Email

(c) Information about why they would like to become a Chairmum;

Get Set to Eat Fresh: Get Set to Eat Fresh is part of the Get Set family of education programmes. Created in partnership with the British Olympic Association and ALDI, Get Set to Eat Fresh uses Team GB athletes as a source of inspiration to encourage students aged 5-14 to cook and eat healthy, fresh food. Free lesson plans, activities and athlete films give young people the confidence to cook and feed themselves healthy food – everything they need to perform at their best in the classroom and on the field, supporting students to achieve healthy, active lifestyles.

ALDI Wine Club: The ALDI Wine Club provides the opportunity for the public to sample, and help ALDI improve the quality of, its award winning wine. ALDI occasionally runs competitions to allow people to apply to join this select panel.
Types of Data: By applying to become a member of the ALDI Wine Club you agree to provide ALDI with:
a) your name;
b) your Twitter account name and profile;
c) your e-mail address;
d) if you are selected as a potential ALDI Wine Club Member, proof of your age; and
e) if you are selected as a potential ALDI Wine Club Member, your address.

Get a Taste for Sport: Get a Taste for Sport allows children to try a free session of a Team GB or Paralympic GB sport. A voucher will be provided at the till point for purchases in excess of £30. The vouchers feature a unique code that entitles the individual to a free sports session of their choosing (subject to availability). Codes can be redeemed online which will show all the participating clubs nearby and how to book their free place. There is no limit to how many clubs or sessions the child would like to go to.
