Ingredients

  • 2 packets of Ready Rolled Pizza Dough

Toppings for the Vegetarian Skull Pizza:

  • 100g Goat’s Cheese
  • 100g British Wonky Mushrooms
  • ½ Red Onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Caster Sugar
  • 50g Pesto

Garnish:

  • 1 Spring Onion
  • 100g Rocket

Toppings for the Frankenstein Spicy Meat Feast:

  • 2 tsp Passata
  • 3 pieces of Pepperoni
  • 3 Stuffed Green Olives
  • 30g Chorizo, sliced
  • ½ Yellow Pepper
  • 80g Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 Red Chilli, thinly sliced
  • 1 Bird’s Eye Chilli, finely sliced (optional)
  • 3 Black Olives
  • 40g Green Olives to serve

Method

Preheat the oven to 200c/180c fan/gas mark 7.

  1. Take the pizza dough and shape it into two ovals with generous thick crusts. Top one with pesto and one with passata.
  2. To make the vegetarian pizza, cut the mushrooms in half and, using a drinking straw, press into the top of the mushroom halves to create two eyes.   Using a sharp knife, score the stalk of the mushroom to create teeth. Heat the oil in a small saucepan over a medium heat and add the onion. Fry for two minutes then add the sugar, removing from the heat when the onion is caramelised. Place all the toppings on the pesto base and set aside whilst you make the meat feast
  3. To make the Frankenstein meat feast pizza, slice 2 thin strips off each side of the pepperoni and cut jagged mouths 2/3 of the way down then, using the leftover thin strips, cut 6 small bolt shapes to go on the pepperoni faces. Slice the yellow pepper into lightning bolts. Cut the black olives in half then cut into zigzag shapes for hair. Cut the stuffed green olives in half for eyes.
  4. Top the passata base with mozzarella then carefully create your Frankenstein faces and add all the other toppings.
  5. Bake the pizzas in a preheated oven for around 12 minutes until the cheese is bubbling. Garnish the skull pizza with spring onion and rocket and serve the meat feast with extra olives
