Roasted Sprouts with Blue Cheese

Roasted Sprouts with Blue Cheese.

Serves: 6 people | Prep time: 10 minutes | Cooking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 400g Brussels Sprouts, trimmed
  • 50g Wagyu Dripping or Goose Fat
  • 25ml Sunflower Oil
  • ½ tsp Dried Sage
  • ½ x tsp Garlic Granules
  • Large pinch Ground Nutmeg
  • 100g Blue Stilton
  • 30ml Squeezy Honey
  • Chilli Flakes, to taste
  • Sea salt and black pepper  

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200c/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Put the dripping or goose fat in a roasting dish and melt in the oven.
  3. Cut the sprouts in half then
  4. Put the sprouts put in a bowl. Add the sage, nutmeg, sunflower oil, garlic granules and season with salt and pepper. Mix well to coat.
  5. Then put the sprouts in the the roasting baking dish and roast for 15 mins minutes.
  6. Then stir them about with a wooden spoon and then roast another 15 mins minutes.
  7. Cut the stilton into small cubes.
  8. Put the sprouts in a serving dish, drizzle over the honey and sprinkle over the chilli flakes and the cheese cubes.
  9. Lightly toss to combine, then serve.
