Banana Bread Biscuit Spread Porridge

Ingredients

  • 80g Organic Jumbo Porridge Oats
  • 440ml Milk
  • 2 tbsp Light Soft Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 Bananas
  • 40g Pecans
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Pinch of Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Caramelised Biscuit Spread

Method

  1. Begin by making the porridge. Place the oats, milk, 1 tablespoon of the brown sugar,
  2. the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil then simmer for
  3. around 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked.
  4. While the porridge cooks, melt the butter in a frying pan then slice the bananas and add
  5. along with the remaining brown sugar and cook until caramelised.
  6. Add the pecans, pinch of salt and cinnamon to the caramelised bananas then remove from the heat.
  7. Divide the porridge between two bowls and add a swirl of caramelised biscuit spread on top of each bowl.
  8. Top with the caramelised bananas and pecans and serve.
