Peach Pavlova Pain Au Chocolat Loaf

Ingredients
- 2 x 6 Village Bakery Frozen Pain au Chocolate
- 2 Peaches
- 200ml Double Cream
- 15g Dark Chocolate
- 1tbsp Butter, melted
- 1 Egg, beaten
Requires:
- 1lb Cake Tin
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C Fan/400°F/Gas Mark 6.
- Line a 1lb cake tin with non-stick baking parchment paper and brush with the melted butter.
- Allow the pain au chocolates to begin defrosting slightly (10 minutes at room temperature)
- Once defrosted, place them in the loaf tin by layering at different angles and brush with the egg wash.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, covering the tin with foil for the last twenty minutes.
- Allow the loaf to cool in the tin.
- Slice the peach into small segments and discard the stone. Lightly whip the cream and grate the chocolate.
- Carefully remove the loaf from the tin and cut into thick slices with a sharp knife.
- Top with some of the whipped cream, sliced peaches and grated chocolate shavings.
