Spicy Jalapeño and Churros Ice Cream

Ingedients

  • 400g tin Sweetened Condensed Milk    
  • 500ml Double Cream    
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract    
  • 25ml Lime Juice  
  • Zest of 1 Lime    
  • 40g Chopped Jalapeños (option -use less or remove seeds for less heat)  
  • 80g Churros, roughly chopped

Garnish:  

  • 8 slices of Jalapeño    
  • 8 Churros

  

Method

  1. Place the condensed milk, cream, vanilla extract, lime juice and lime zest in a large bowl and whisk until smooth and thickened.
  2. Stir through the chopped jalapeños and churros and then place in a container and freeze for a minimum of 6 hours/until fully frozen.
  3. Scoop and serve with additional churros and jalapeño as a garnish.
