Sausage & Bean Mini Pies

Add some fun to the dinnertable with these tasty mini pies.

Ingredients

  • 220g Alphabet Potato Letters
  • 1 x 400g tin Baked Beans
  • 4 Pork Sausages
  • 12 Yorkshire Puddings
  • 50g Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 20g Gravy Granules
  • 100g Tenderstem Broccoli
  • 2 large Carrots, chopped into rounds  

  

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Fry the sausages in a pan until cooked through. Cut each sausage into 4 bite-sized chunks.
  3. Cook the alphabet letters on a baking tray for 15 minutes, turning them halfway though cooking.
  4. Heat the beans in a microwaveable container.
  5. Spoon the beans into the Yorkshire puddings and place the sausage pieces in the beans, top with the cheese and bake for 5 minutes.
  6. Boil the vegetables in salted water for 3 minutes until just cooked.
  7. Make up the gravy with ½ pint of hot water in a jug.
  8. Top the Yorkshire puddings with your chosen letters and serve alongside any remaining letters, the vegetables and the gravy.
