Spaghetti alla Marinara

A simply delicious pasta dish with a rich tomato sauce, perfect for the family.

Ingredients
- 400g Spaghetti
- 2x 400g Tins Peeled Plum Tomatoes
- 1x Large Red Onion
- 4g Dried Basil
- 1x 125g Pouch Mozzarella Cheese
- 3x Cloves Garlic
- 20ml Sunflower Oil
Method
- Peel the onion and finely chop
- Peel the garlic and mince
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and saute the onion and garlic for a few mins to soften
- Add the tinned tomatoes and the basil
- With a fork – break up the tomatoes – cook for 10 mins till thickened
- Meanwhile cook the pasta as directions on the pack
- Drain the liquid from the mozzarella – and chop finely
- Drain the pasta – divide between 4 x bowls – divide the tomato sauce between them and sprinkle over the mozzarella and serve
