Honey Garlic Steak Crostini with Whipped Feta

- 1 Bake At Home Baguette
- 1 x 227g Specially Selected Aberdeen Angus Sirloin steak
- 40g Salted Butter
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 30ml Squeezy Honey
- 100g Feta Cheese
- 50g Greek Yogurt
- 1 large tsp Mayonnaise
- Black Pepper
- Large sprig of Fresh Rosemary
- Small sprigs of Fresh Thyme
Method
- Cut the ends off the baguette and discard, then cut the baguette into 15 slices, slicing slightly on the diagonal and toast them.
- Crumble the feta and add to a small food processor, along with the yogurt and mayonnaise, then process until smooth.
- Spread this over the toasted bread slices and put onto a serving plate.
- Peel and finely chop the garlic.
- Melt the butter in a frying pan and add the steak, rosemary and garlic. Fry on each side for 2 minutes, basting with the butter as you cook.
- Remove the steak from the pan and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
- After removing the fat, thinly cut the steak into 30 slices.
- Top each crostini with two slices of steak.
- Discard the rosemary from the frying pan, add the honey to the butter in the pan and gently heat.
- Drizzle this over the steak, garnish with some thyme, sprinkle with black pepper and serve.
