Tortilla Pizzas with Salami

A quick and simple alternative to making pizzas at home, this recipe is perfect for enlisting the help of little hands, so get your kids in the kitchen and try a slice tonight!

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas or flatbreads  
  • 8 tablespoons shop-bought tomato pasta sauce  
  • 200 g (7oz) salami slices  
  • 300 g (10oz) mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced  
  • basil leaves, plus extra to garnish

Method

  1. Lay the tortillas or flatbreads on 2 large baking sheets.  
  2. Top each with 2 tablespoons of the pasta sauce, spreading it up to the edge.  
  3. Arrange a quarter of the salami and mozzarella slices and basil leaves over the top of each.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven, 200°C (400°F), Gas Mark 6, for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.  
  5. Serve garnished with extra basil leaves.
