Aldi Terms and Conditions – Aldi Tote Bags 2026

The Promoter is Aldi Stores Limited, Holly Lane, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 2SQ. The Promoter’s company number is 02321869.

How to enter:

To enter the competition, entrants must be 18 years of age or older and a UK resident

1. Entrants must send an email to shoppingbags@aldi.co.uk with the entrant’s full name

2. Entries can be submitted from 09:00 (GMT) on 09/01/2026 to 23:59 (GMT) on 16/01/2026. All entries received after 23:59 (GMT) on 16/01/2026 will be automatically discounted.

3. 50 winners will be selected by random draw performed by a computer process from all valid entries and will be contacted directly via the email address used to enter the competition within 14 days of the closing date for entries to be submitted.

4. By entering the competition, entrants accept the terms and conditions set out herein.

5. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. No responsibility can be accepted by the Promoter for any technical failures of any kind or any unauthorised intervention in any part of the entry process, nor for any technical or human error, which may occur in the administration of this competition or the processing of entries.

Entries must not contain material that, at the Promoter’s sole discretion:

(a) is inappropriate, offensive, indecent, obscene, hateful, defamatory, derogatory or anything similar;

(b) promotes irresponsible or excessive drinking; or

(c) may promote bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or that may promote discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity or age.

7. In the event of any dispute regarding the winners of the competition, the decision of the Promoter is to be treated as final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into by the Promoter.

8. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.

Eligibility:

The competition is open to all residents aged 18 or over in the UK except employees of:

(a) the Promoter;

(b) any business involved or associated with the competition;

(c) any of the Promoter’s agencies (including any of their parent and/or affiliate companies); or

(d) the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and other household members of any such employee described in this clause.

9. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entrants’ eligibility.

10. There is a limit of 1 (one) entry to the competition per person.

11. Internet access required.

12. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:

(a) automatically generated by computer;

(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;

(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or copied; or

(d) submitted under a false name or address, or the provision of any other untruthful, inaccurate or misleading information.

Prize:

13. Each winner will receive 1 x Aldi tote bag (the “Prize”) from Aldi. There are 50 Prizes available to be won in total.

14. The winners will be notified of their win by the Promoter via an email from shoppingbags@aldi.co.uk to the email address used to enter the competition on or before 30/01/2026.

15. Once chosen and notified of their win in accordance with clause 14 above, to claim their prize, the winners must reply to the email from  shoppingbags@aldi.co.uk within 48 hours of the email from  shoppingbags@aldi.co.uk being sent and provide the Promoter/Clarion Communications with their UK address for delivery of the Prize.

16. The Promoter and/or Clarion Communications will make all reasonable efforts to contact winners. If the winners cannot be contacted, or do not reply to the email from the Promoter/Clarion Communications in accordance with clause 15 above, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the valid entries received before the closing date.

17. The prize is non-refundable, non-changeable and no cash alternative will be given.

18. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and the Promoter will not enter into any further correspondence regarding the outcome of the competition.

19. The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to substitute another prize of similar or greater value.

20. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of residence of the winners to anyone who emails  shoppingbags@aldi.co.uk or writes to Aldi Stores Limited, Holly Lane,Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 2SQ (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date of the competition.

21. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter via email at  shoppingbags@aldi.co.uk. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

Winner selection:

22. The winners will be selected at random following the competition closing at 23:59pm on 16/01/2025.

Data protection and publicity:

23. Insofar as the Promotor and/or Clarion Communications become a controller of any personal data relating to entrants, any such personal data will be held and/or processed in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and for the purposes of the current competition only. 24. Subject to clause 23 above, no personal data of entrants held and/or processed by the Promoter and/or Clarion Communications will be disclosed to a third party without the data subject’s prior consent, other than is absolutely necessary so as to fulfil the terms of the competition, in which case such processing will be subject to the necessary lawful basis under data protection legislation.

25. You should not submit any personal data that is not personal to and/or relates specifically to you.

26. You hereby warrant that the information which you submit and/or distribute, including any content posted via your Facebook / Instagram / Twitter/ X / TikTok account, will not infringe the intellectual property or any other rights of any third party, and will not contain anything which is defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening.

27. By entering this competition, you hereby warrant that all information and social media content submitted in connection with this competition by you is true, current and complete.

Ownership and publication of competition entries and intellectual property rights:

28. Winners may be required to take part in publicity releases accompanying or resulting from this competition. By entering into this competition you hereby assign to the Promoter, and waive your moral rights in, the copyright and all other intellectual property rights whatsoever in your entry and confirm that you have no rights in any promotional or advertising material or similar which arises out of, or is in connection, with this competition.

29. For the avoidance of doubt, by entering this competition, the entrants agree for the images and/or videos shared as part of their entry to be used and shared via the Promotor’s social media channels.

General:

30. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions.

31. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw this competition if circumstances arise which are beyond its control.

32. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the operation of the competition or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person deliberately to undermine the legitimate operation of the competition may be a violation of criminal and civil law and, should such an attempt be made, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Promoter’s failure to enforce any of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

33. Except where prohibited, entrants agree that:

(a) any and all claims brought by them in relation to this competition, and any consequential judgments or awards, shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this competition; and

(b) under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages otherwise increased. Subject to any liability arising as a result of its fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, the Promoter’s liability for claims related to this promotion is limited to a maximum of three thousand pounds.

34. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any injury or damage to persons or property, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, from any entrant’s participation in the competition or from any prize.

35. All claims (whether contractual or non-contractual) concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the parties hereby agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

36. Any other competitions or promotions run by the Promoter will be governed by their own separate terms and conditions.

37.The competition is being run by the Promoter and not in collaboration with any other partners.

The Promoter  is Aldi Stores Limited, Holly Lane, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 2SQ.

1. To enter the competition, Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and be the holder of a valid Instagram account.

2. To enter Applicants must like the post, share the post to their story and tag a friend in the comments on the relevant post associated with the giveaway captioned “The biggest wedding of the year is HERE’ posted on aldispecialbuysuk  on 25/11/2025.

3. Entries can be submitted from 9:00am on 25/11/2025 to 11:59pm on 30/11/2025.

4. All entries received after 11:59pm on 30/11/2025 are automatically disqualified.

5. 1 (One)] winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries by random draw performed by a computer process on 01.12.25

6. The winner will be contacted on or before 5pm 01.12.25 via a direct message on Instagram and will be tagged in an Instagram story announcing them as the winner. Prizes will be sent no later than 24.12.25

7. By entering the competition, Applicants accept the terms and conditions set out herein.

20. The winner will be contacted directly via their social media account no later than 24.12.25 and they will be asked to confirm a UK address for delivery of the Prize.

If the winner cannot be contacted or are not available or has not claimed their prize within three days, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the valid entries received before the closing date.

22. The prize is non-refundable, non-changeable and no cash alternative will be given.
