TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE ALDI “TEAM GB & PARALYMPICSGB ATHLETE” VOUCHER COMPETITION (THE “COMPETITION”)
These Terms tell you the rules on which you may enter the Competition. By entering, you confirm that you accept these Terms.
1. INFORMATION ABOUT US
The promoter of the Competition is ALDI Stores Limited (“ALDI”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 02321869). Our registered office is at Holly Lane, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 2SQ. Our VAT number is GB813053468.

2. WHO CAN ENTER
2.1 The Competition is open to Team GB & ParalympicsGB athletes who:
- are currently receiving ALDI vouchers under the Gold Club scheme (or are otherwise part of the “Team ALDI” athlete programme being supported by ALDI), and
- are aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
2.2 Residents of Great Britain only (i.e., England, Scotland and Wales). Northern Ireland is excluded.
2.3 This Competition is not open to:
- ALDI employees and their immediate families (for example, spouses, children, siblings, parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents), or
- employees, officers or agents of companies associated with the Competition.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 To enter the Competition, you must create and publish a static post featuring ALDI products on Instagram or TikTok during the Entry Period, and ensure it meets all requirements below.
3.2 Entry Period
- Entries open at 00:01 on Thursday 29 April 2026
- Entries close at 18:00 on Friday 8 May 2026
- Entries received after the closing time are disqualified.
3.3 Your static post must:
- be created as a single static post (not a video) on Instagram or TikTok
- clearly tag @aldiuk (the handle must be clearly visible in the post)
- be marked as an “Ad” (so it is transparent and compliant as required for advertising)
- be HFSS-compliant
- be published so it is publicly visible during the Entry Period and until winners are confirmed
3.4 For the purpose of these Terms, HFSS means High Fat, Salt & Sugar. Your post must only include content/products that are permitted under HFSS rules.
The following product categories are listed as examples of what you cannot include (your post must be compliant with HFSS requirements):
- soft drinks
- crisps and savoury snacks
- breakfast cereals
- confectionery
- ice cream and lollies
- cakes
- sweet biscuits
- pre-prepared cereal products (for example, cereal bars)
- desserts
- sweetened yoghurts
- pizza
- processed potato products (for example, potato waffles)
- ready meals
- prepared meal centres without a carbohydrate (for example, curry with no rice)
- breaded or battered meat/fish where that is the main of the meal (for example fish fingers)
3.5 If your post fails to meet any requirement (including tagging, “Ad” label, or HFSS compliance), it may be treated as non-qualifying.
3.6 You may submit only one qualifying entry. If you submit more than one, ALDI may treat the first qualifying entry as your entry (or disqualify you if it believes you are attempting to gain an unfair advantage).
4. ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
4.1 ALDI will review entries and two winners from team GB and two winners from ParalympicsGB will be selected at random for the Prize.
4.2 Winners will be selected at random based on the overall entries that meet all requirements and are compliant.
4.3 ALDI will announce the winners after 8 May, once qualifying entries are identified (subject to verification that the entries comply with these Terms) and selected at
5. THE PRIZE
5.1 There will be four (4) winners.
5.2 Prize for each winner: doubled ALDI vouchers for the rest of 2026, starting from the point vouchers are issued following winner confirmation, and continuing for each month while the winner remains part of the Gold Club scheme (so vouchers are paid for the duration of the athlete’s time in the Gold Club scheme).
5.3 ALDI’s vouchers are intended to be “double” the value the athlete normally receives (i.e., where the usual monthly voucher is £30, the doubled voucher would be £60 per month), but the precise voucher mechanics and issue schedule will be administered by ALDI in line with the Gold Club scheme processes.
5.4 The Prize:
- is non-transferable
- is non-refundable
- has no cash alternative
- may be subject to refusal if ALDI determines an entry or subsequent conduct is in breach of these Terms
5.5 ALDI may substitute the Prize with another prize of equivalent or greater value if reasonably required.
6. WINNER OBLIGATIONS (MONTHLY CONTENT)
6.1 Each winner must create and publish a video post every month for the remainder of 2026 (or until their time in the Gold Club scheme ends), tagging @aldiuk in each monthly post.
6.2 Each monthly post must meet any compliance requirements ALDI notifies you about (including ensuring any advertising aspects are appropriately labelled, and that content remains compliant).
6.3 If a winner:
- fails to post within reasonable deadlines notified by ALDI, or
- posts content that ALDI reasonably considers non-compliant or in breach of these Terms,
ALDI may withhold further voucher payments (or withdraw the Prize entitlement), at ALDI’s discretion.
7. HOW AND WHEN ALDI WILL CONTACT WINNERS
7.1 ALDI will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners as soon as they are identified (for example via the messaging methods available on the relevant social platform account, or other contact details associated with the Gold Club scheme).
7.2 Winners must respond promptly and in accordance with instructions from ALDI so that voucher arrangements can be confirmed.
7.3 If ALDI cannot confirm the winner entitlement within a reasonable time, ALDI may select an alternative eligible winner from the valid entries identified prior to the closing date, subject to these Terms.
8. RESTRICTIONS ON ENTRY / QUALIFYING CONTENT
8.1 Entries must not contain material that:
- is offensive, obscene, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate
- promotes irresponsible behaviour
- promotes harm toward any person or group
- infringes any person’s intellectual property rights or violates any law
8.2 Your content must be:
- original to you (or you must have the necessary rights to use it)
- not copied or reposted from others
- compliant with all applicable advertising, platform and regulatory rules
8.3 ALDI may remove or disqualify an entry at any time if it believes the entry breaches these Terms or is not in the spirit of the Competition.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND LICENCE
9.1 By entering, you confirm that your entry does not infringe any intellectual property rights of any third party.
9.2 By entering, you grant ALDI a royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, publish, adapt and distribute your entry (including your social media post(s) and video(s)) for the purposes of:
- operating the Competition,
- communicating about winners/results, and
- promoting ALDI (including on ALDI channels).
9.3 This licence continues for so long as reasonably required for those purposes.
10. PUBLICITY
10.1 Winners may be required to take part in publicity connected with the Competition.
10.2 By entering, you agree that ALDI may publish the winner’s name and any announcement required as part of Competition administration (subject to your rights under applicable law and any privacy protections).
11. DATA PROTECTION
11.1 Any personal data provided by you (or about you) will be handled in accordance with ALDI’s privacy policy: https://www.aldi.co.uk/privacy
11.2 ALDI will process personal data only to run and administer the Competition and as otherwise permitted by law.
12. SOCIAL MEDIA / PLATFORM DISCLAIMERS
12.1 This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or TikTok.
12.2 You understand that you are providing your entry to ALDI and not to Instagram or TikTok. However, any content you post on Instagram and TikTok shall be subject to the terms and conditions that apply to each platform.
13. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
13.1 ALDI will not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.
13.2 Subject to clause 13.1, entrants agree that ALDI’s total liability in connection with this Competition is limited to a maximum of £3,000.
13.3 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
14. GENERAL
14.1 Discretion: Any discretion ALDI makes under these Terms is at ALDI’s absolute discretion and no correspondence shall be entered into about decisions.
14.2 Events beyond ALDI’s control: If events occur that make it impractical to run the Competition (including affecting selection/timing), ALDI may modify or amend the Competition.
14.3 Cancellation: ALDI may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition at any time where necessary (for example due to unforeseen circumstances). ALDI will notify affected entrants using reasonable means where practicable.
14.4 Entire agreement: These Terms (and any documents referenced) represent the entire agreement between you and ALDI regarding the Competition.
14.5 Applicable law: These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
ACTIVITY
ALDI Team GB & Para GB Athlete” Voucher Competition: The Competition will award two winners with ALDI vouchers in accordance with these Terms.
Types of Data: By entering the Competition you agree to provide ALDI with: [INSERT]
Uses of Data: We may use the data you provide in the following ways:
a) Your name and e-mail address: This will be used to administer the Competition (including notifying you if you become a winner or otherwise contacting you in relation to the Competition);
b) Your e-mail address: If you consent to it, to contact you in relation to our newsletters and marketing; and
c) Your address: To deliver the prize and any associated documents to you.
Basis for Processing: Variously, your consent to be a Competition winner, your consent to receiving marketing communications and our legitimate interests (to learn more about what our customers feel about our products and to promote them).
Third-Parties Involved: [INSERT]
We may also disclose your data to selected third-party service providers involved with:
a) TV, radio, print and other media production; and
making deliveries of products.
Aldi Terms and Conditions Specialbuy Shirts Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”)
The Promoter is Aldi Stores Limited, Holly Lane, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 2SQ. Our company number is 02321869.
How to enter:
1. To enter the Prize Draw, applicants must be 18 years of age or older and be the holder of a valid email account.
2. To enter Applicants must send an email containing their full name to the following email address: Specialbuy.Shirt@aldi.co.uk (“Applicant”).
3. Entries can be submitted from 08:00 AM on 30th April 2026 to 11:59 PM on 7th May 2026.
4. All entries received after 11:59 PM on 7th May 2026 are automatically disqualified.
5. 30 (thirty) winners will be randomly selected by a verifiably random number computer generator from all valid entries and will be contacted on or before 11:59PM on 12th May 2026 by email to the email address used to enter the Prize Draw.
6. By entering the Prize Draw, Applicants accept the terms and conditions set out herein.
7. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. No responsibility can be accepted for any technical failures of any kind or any unauthorised intervention in any part of the entry process, nor for any technical or human error, which may occur in the administration of this Prize Draw or the processing of entries.
8. Entries must not contain material that:
(a) is inappropriate, offensive, indecent, obscene, hateful, defamatory, derogatory or anything similar;
(b) promotes irresponsible or excessive drinking; or
(c) may promote bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or that may promote discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity or age.
9. Applicants acknowledge that any personal identifiable information provided as part of their entry may be processed by Aldi in accordance with their Privacy Notice.
10. Applicants acknowledge that other Applicants may have submitted ideas and concepts that may be similar to their entry, and that they will not be entitled to any compensation or right to negotiate with the Promoter over such matters.
11. Applicants warrant that their entries are their own original creation and have not been copied and/or reposted from any other persons.
12. In the event of any dispute regarding the winners, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.
Eligibility:
14. The Prize Draw is open to all residents in the UK over the age of 18 whom hold a valid email account, except employees of:
(a) the Promoter;
(b) any business involved or associated with the Prize Draw; or
(c) any of the Promoter’s agencies (including any of their parent and/or affiliate companies); or
(d) the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and other household members of any such employee described in this clause.
15. In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw. The Promoter reserves the right to verify Applicants’ eligibility.
16. There is a limit of 1 (one) entry per person.
17. Internet access required.
18. You may only enter the Prize Draw using an email account that you control.
19. The Promoter will not accept Prize Draw entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or copied; or
(d) submitting a false name or address, or any other untruthful, inaccurate or misleading information;
Prize:
20. The winners will each receive 1 Aldi Specialbuy Shirt in one size (the “Prize”).
21. The winners will each be contacted directly by email at the email address used to enter this Prize Draw no later than 11:59PM on 12th May 2026 and they will be asked to confirm a UK address for delivery of the Prize.
22. The Prize will be delivered by courier to each winner’s UK address confirmed to the Promoter on or before 22 May 2026.
23. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winners. If the winners cannot be contacted or are not available or have not claimed their Prize within 3 (three) days, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Applicant selected from the valid entries received before the closing date.
24. The Prize is non-refundable, non-changeable and no cash alternative will be given.
25. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
26. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to substitute another prize of similar or greater value.
27. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the winners to anyone who emails Specialbuy.Shirt@aldi.co.uk or writes to Aldi Stores Limited, Holly Lane, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 2SQ (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date of the Prize Draw.
28. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at Specialbuy.Shirt@aldi.co.uk In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
Data protection and publicity:
29. Insofar as the Promoter becomes a controller of any personal data relating to Applicants, any such personal data will be held and/or processed in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and for the purposes of the Prize Draw only. The details of the Promoter’s privacy policy including details on how to exercise any rights under the data protection legislation can be found at www.aldi.co.uk/privacy
30. Subject to Clause 28 above, no personal data of Applicants held and/or processed by the Promoter will be disclosed to a third party without the data subject’s prior consent, other than is absolutely necessary so as to fulfil the terms of the Prize Draw, in which case such processing will be subject to the necessary lawful basis under data protection legislation.
31. You should not submit any personal data that is not personal to and/or relates specifically to you. You hereby warrant that the information which you submit and/or distribute will not infringe the intellectual property or any other rights of any third party, and will not contain anything which is defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening.
32. By entering this Prize Draw, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete.
Ownership and publication of competition entries and intellectual property rights:
33. Winners may be required to take part in publicity accompanying or resulting from the Prize Draw. By entering the Prize Draw you hereby assign to the Promoter, and waive your moral rights in, the copyright and all other intellectual property rights whatsoever in your entry and confirm that you have no rights in any promotional or advertising material or similar which arises out of, or is in connection, with the Prize Draw.
General:
34. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that does comply with these terms and conditions.
35. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Prize Draw if circumstances arise which are beyond its control.
36. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Prize Draw or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person deliberately to undermine the legitimate operation of the Prize Draw may be a violation of criminal and civil law and, should such an attempt be made, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Promoter’s failure to enforce any of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
37. Except where prohibited, Applicants agree that:
(a) any and all claims brought by them in relation to this Prize Draw, and any consequential judgments or awards, shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Prize Draw; and
(b) under no circumstances will Applicants be permitted to obtain awards for, and Applicants hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages otherwise increased. Subject to any liability arising as a result of its fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, the Promoter’s liability for claims related to the Prize Draw is limited to a maximum of £3,000.00 (three thousand pounds).
38. Any other promotions run by the Promoter will be governed by their own separate terms and conditions.
39. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any injury or damage to persons or property, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, from any Applicant’s participation in the Prize Draw or from any prize.
40. All issues and questions (whether contractual or non-contractual) concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the parties hereby agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Aldi Terms and Conditions Wooden Toy Tester Competition (“Competition”)
The Promoter is Aldi Stores Limited, Holly Lane, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 2SQ (company number: 02321869).
How to enter:
1. To enter the Competition, Applicants must be parents or carers of children over the age of 3 and be the holder of a valid email account.
2. To enter, Applicants must send an email containing their child’s full name, age, county of residence and a video explaining what they would like to make in their toy kitchen, to the following email address: woodentoytester@aldi.co.uk. If your child is the winner, you will be contacted by Aldi to provide your home address for Prize delivery purposes.
3. Entries can be submitted from 00:00 AM on 21st April 2026 to 11:59 PM on 5th May 2026.
4. All entries received after 11:59 PM on 5th May 2026 will be automatically disqualified.
5. One winner will be selected by a panel of independent judges from all valid entries and will be contacted on or before 8th May 2026 by email to the email address used to enter the Competition.
6. By entering the Competition, Applicants accept the terms and conditions set out herein.

21. The winner will be contacted directly by email at the email address used to enter this Competition no later than 8th May 2026 and they will be asked to confirm a UK address for delivery of the Prize.
22. The Prize will be delivered by courier to the winner’s UK address confirmed to the Promoter on or before 15th May 2026.
23. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, is not available, has not provided their UK address for delivery of the Prize or has not claimed their Prize within 3 (three) days of the Promoter contacting the winner, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Applicant selected from the valid entries received before the closing date.
24. The Prize is non-refundable, non-changeable and no cash alternative will be given.
25. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
26. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to substitute another prize of similar or greater value.

In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
The Review
29. The winner will receive the Prize.
30. The winner will be required to submit a review of the Prize (the “Review”).
31. The winner will be sent an information pack detailing further information, instructions and guidance on writing or recording the Review.
32. The winner will be required to share their Review in accordance with the instructions that will be provided to them by the Promoter.
33.vThe winner must act in good faith when writing their Review, and must, in particular, ensure that such Review reflects their honestly held opinions.
34. The Promoter and/or its agents have the right to edit the Review in any way that it deems necessary.
35. The Review may be published and shared across all the Promoter’s UK channels (including across the Promoter’s PR, digital, recruitment, social media channels and leaflet). By entering this Competition, you grant the Promoter the right to use, publish and/or share any Review that you create, in any way it chooses.
Data protection and publicity:
36. Insofar as the Promoter becomes a controller of any personal data relating to Applicants, any such personal data will be held and/or processed in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and for the purposes of the current Competition only. 37. Subject to Clause 27 above, no personal data of Applicants held and/or processed by the Promoter will be disclosed to a third party without the data subject’s prior consent, other than is absolutely necessary so as to fulfil the terms of the Competition, in which case such processing will be subject to the necessary lawful basis under data protection legislation. For example, addresses may be disclosed to a third party PR agency for prize delivery purposes.
38. You should not submit any personal data that is not personal to and/or relates specifically to you. You hereby warrant that the information which you submit and/or distribute will not infringe the intellectual property or any other rights of any third party, and will not contain anything which is defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening.
39. By entering this Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete.

How to enter:
1. To enter the Prize Draw, applicants must be 16 years of age or older and be the holder of a valid email account.
2. To enter applicants must send an email containing their full name, date of birth and county of residence to the following email address: AirfryerPlushie@aldi.co.uk (“Applicant”)
3. Entries can be submitted from 00:00 AM on 9th April 2026 to 11:59 PM on 16th April 2026.
4. All entries received after 11:59 PM on 16th April 2026 are automatically disqualified.
5. 10 winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries and will be contacted on or before 24th April 2026 by email to the email address used to enter the Prize Draw.

12. In the event of any dispute regarding the winners, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
