BBQ Frankfurter sausages served on a bed of crunch slaw.

    6 x Frankfurters

    1 x pack 6 Specially Selected Brioche Hot Dog Rolls

    150g Red Cabbage

    4 x Spring Onions

    2 x Carrots

    6 x Mini Peppers

    35g Red Leicester Cheese, grated

    35g Mature Cheddar Cheese, grated

    80g Mayonnaise

    20ml Cider Vinegar


    Finely shred the cabbage. Wipe, trim and finely slice the spring onions. Peel and cut the carrots into matchsticks. Cut the peppers into matchsticks.

    Put all the above into a bowl, add the grated cheeses, mayo and cider vinegar, season with some black pepper and mix well.

    Barbecue or grill the frankfurters as per directions on the pack.

    Split open the buns, add a little slaw, then top with the frankfurters.

    Serve the remaining slaw in a bowl.
