Feta and Olive Chequerboard

This zesty recipe makes a fun little starter.

Ingredients

  • 2 x 200g Feta Blocks, drained
  • 25g Sicilian Queen Nocellara Green Olives
  • ½ tsp Dried Chilli Flakes
  • ¼ tsp Ground Black pepper
  • ½ x tsp Fresh Thyme Leaves
  • 30ml Olive Oil

To serve:

  • Shallow Wooden Serving Board

  

Method

  1. Cut the feta into 3 pieces lengthways, then cut each strip into 4 cubes.
  2. Arrange the feta and olives alternatively on the board.
  3. Sprinkle over the chilli flakes, black pepper and thyme, then drizzle with some olive oil and serve.
