Aldi are proud to partner with Teenage Cancer Trust
Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to providing specialised nursing care and support for young people aged 13-24 with cancer.
Each year, their specially trained nurses and youth workers support hundreds of teenagers and young adults in 28 units in hospitals nationwide, as well as helping many more in local hospitals and at home.
Their post-treatment events bring young people with cancer together so they can meet others who know what they’re going through and support one another.
It’s our goal to help raise awareness of this vital cause and work together with Teenage Cancer Trust to ensure every young person with cancer gets the support they need, when they need it, before and after diagnosis. We are thrilled to announce that we have already raised £9 million for Teenage Cancer Trust! Our charity partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust began in 2017, with a goal to raise £5 million in 5 years.
In July 2020, Aldi celebrated reaching the £5 million target over 18 months early and extended the charity partnership to raise £10 million by 2027. Aldi colleagues worked together in fundraising and celebrated the £9 million milestone in September 2023, way ahead of schedule!
From running to baking, cycling to skydiving, our customers and colleagues have been leaping at every available opportunity to make this possible. Thanks to the #EverydayAmazing efforts of our colleagues and customers, we are now well on our way to succeeding our 10 years to £10 million fundraising goal for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Since 2017, Aldi have supported the annual Teenage Cancer Trust concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. A full week of shows, with world famous singers and comedians performing to support Teenage Cancer Trust in their aim to ensure no young person faces cancer alone.
