At release, the wine is deep red with purple hues. The aroma is vibrant with red currant, plum and a touch of spice and pepper. A well balanced medium bodied wine with a lively palate of juicy red berry fruit, fine gentle tannins and a soft yet persistent finish. The wine has seen french oak stave matuartion and has been crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar well to ~ 2028.
